Resend to Non-Openers
Resend to Non-Openers is a Pro feature that re-sends an existing campaign to just the people who did not open it. It is a simple, high-return way to lift total opens without re-emailing everyone.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Open a sent campaign’s report.
- Choose Resend to Non-Openers.
- PrimoCRM clones the campaign, builds a fresh audience of contacts who received the original but did not open it, and queues the send.
You will usually change the subject line for the resend so it catches attention the second time.
Who is included and excluded
Section titled “Who is included and excluded”The resend targets contacts who received the original campaign and did not open it. It automatically excludes:
- anyone who already opened,
- unsubscribed contacts,
- bounced contacts, and
- complained contacts.
So you only reach people who genuinely missed the first email. See Contact Status.
A worked example
Section titled “A worked example”You send a product announcement on Monday and get a 35 percent open rate. On Wednesday you resend to non-openers with a new subject line. Many of the 65 percent who missed it now open, lifting the campaign’s total reach with no new content to write.
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”- Wait a couple of days after the original send before resending.
- Change the subject line; keep the content largely the same.
- Resend once. One follow-up is plenty, and over-mailing hurts deliverability. See Sending and Deliverability.
