General Settings

Settings live under PrimoCRM then Settings, organized into tabs. This page covers the general options. Sending is covered in Sending and Deliverability, spam protection in Spam Protection, and licensing in Licensing.

Set your business name and address here. These populate the smart codes used in email footers and content:

  • {{crm.business_name}} falls back to your site title if left blank.
  • {{crm.business_address}} appears where you place it, typically the footer.

A complete, accurate physical address in your footer is a common anti-spam requirement, so fill this in before sending real campaigns. See Personalization and Smart Codes.

Choose how email leaves your site: the WordPress mailer, Custom SMTP, or a Pro email service provider. Full guidance is in Sending and Deliverability.

PrimoCRM can automatically create a contact when a WordPress user registers, so your CRM stays in step with your site’s user base. You can set the default status new synced contacts receive, which is Subscribed by default. Pair this with the WordPress user registered automation trigger to welcome new users.

Define and manage custom fields from Settings. Fields you create here appear on every contact profile and in the smart-code picker.

By default, uninstalling PrimoCRM leaves your data in the database so you can reinstall without losing anything. If you want a full cleanup when the plugin is deleted, enable the data-removal option in the danger zone. It is off by default and only removes data if you explicitly opt in first. On multisite it is handled per site.
